“That, for the purpose of securing the repayment of a loan of £200, under ‘The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886,’ for the purpose of extending the formation of the Mungapurupuru Road from Section 874 to Section 878, Blocks X. and XI., Mangapakeha Survey District, a special rate of ½d. in the pound be made and levied on the following lands: Sections 871, 877, Parts 1 and 2 of Section 876, 879, 878, part of 881, part of Part 1 of 865, Blocks X. and XI. and XIV., Mangapakeha Survey District. Such rate shall be annually recurring for twenty-six years, and be payable in two equal half-yearly instalments on the 1st days of February and August in each year.”

I hereby certify that the above special order has been duly made by the Castlepoint Road Board in accordance with the provisions of “The Road Boards Act, 1882.”

THE following special order, made by the Taratahi-Carterton Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Road Boards Act, 1882.”

SPECIAL ORDER passed by the Taratahi-Carterton Road Board at a Meeting held on the 7th Day of May, 1898, and confirmed by the same at a Special Meeting held on the 8th Day of June, 1898.

THAT for the purpose of providing the annual interest and charges upon a loan of £700 to be raised under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1886,” and “The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886,” for the purpose of constructing a bridge across the River Taueru, this Board do now make and levy a special rate of ⅓d. in the pound equally over all the rateable properties in No. 8 Subdivision of the Taratahi-Carterton Road District, such rate to be annually recurring for twenty-six years, and payable in two equal instalments on the 1st day of December and June in each year.
