HOBSON COUNTY.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LANDS FOR STREETS AND WELLS IN THE TOWNSHIP OF DARGAVILLE, HOBSON COUNTY.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Hobson County Council, under the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1894,” to take land for certain public works—viz., streets and wells—in the Township of Dargaville, and being the lands situated in the Tunatahi Block known as Normanby Street, containing 1 acre 3 roods 24·6 perches, and Gordon and Portland Streets, containing 3 acres 1 rood 29 perches; also No. 1 Well Reserve, containing seven-tenths of a perch; No. 2 Well Reserve, containing six-tenths of a perch; and No. 3 Well Reserve, containing five-tenths of a perch; also that portion of Kaihu No. 2d Block known as Gordon Street, containing 2 acres and 38·6 perches.
The plan of the lands required to be taken for the said streets and wells is deposited at the Council Chambers, Aratapu, and a copy thereof is deposited at the Post-office, Dargaville, and are open for inspection.
All persons affected by the taking of the said lands shall, if they have any well-grounded objection to the taking of such lands, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication (1st July, 1898) of such notice, to the Chairman of the Hobson County Council at Aratapu.

COUNTY OF WAITEMATA.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROADS.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed by the Waitemata County Council, under the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1882,” to execute certain public works, to wit, the construction of roads in the County of Waitemata, and for the purpose of such public works the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is further given that copies of the plans of the said roads, and of the lands so required to be taken, are deposited at the County Office, Palmerston Buildings, Auckland, and are there open for inspection. All persons affected by the execution of the said public works or by the taking of the said lands shall, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public works or to the taking of such lands, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Clerk of the Waitemata County Council, Palmerston Buildings, Auckland.
