SECOND SCHEDULE.
All goods left for shipping must be placed in such parts of the storehouse and stored in such manner as the person in charge shall direct, and shall be marked with initial letters, or otherwise distinctly directed. All goods landed or laid down for shipping at the wharves, or within a radius of 66 ft. from the wharves, measuring from their central points, shall be liable to the charges set forth in the “Scale of Charges” immediately following.

Storage Rates.
Goods left on the wharf or in the storehouse more than one week will be charged 1s. per ton per week or part of a week, and 6d. per half-ton or under per week or part of a week.
The minimum charge for wharfage or storage shall be 3d.
All wharf charges shall be paid at the time of shipping or receiving of goods.
The hours of attendance of wharfinger shall be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Extending Time for Preparation of Burgess Roll, Borough of Sydenham.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this eighteenth day of June, 1898.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.
WHEREAS it has been made to appear that certain things required to be done by “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1886,” in connection with the making and revision of the burgess lists or rolls of the Borough of Sydenham cannot be done by or within the time required by the said Act :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in him by the said Act, and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby extend the time for the doing of the said things in connection with the burgess lists or rolls of the said Borough of Sydenham, and doth declare that the times for the doing of such several things shall be those which are specified in the Schedule hereunder.

Burgess and defaulters’ list open for inspection, and delivery of objections thereto, until the 27th June, 1898.

Inspection of lists of objections, from the 6th July, 1898, to the 12th July, 1898.

Sitting of Council to determine claims and objections, between the 6th July and 12th July, 1898.

Burgess roll to come into force on the 1st August, 1898.
