Rural Land in Southland District open for Selection.
District Lands and Survey Office, Invercargill, 16th May, 1898.
THE under-mentioned Crown land will be open for selection, in terms of sections 121 and 136 of “The Land Act, 1892,” for lease in perpetuity, on and after Thursday, the 7th July, 1898.
If more than one application be received on the same day, then the order of selection shall be decided by ballot on the following day, at 11 a.m.

This section is covered with bush, from which all marketable timber has been removed by sawmillers. Soil, clay; well watered; varying in height above sea-level from 50 ft. to 150 ft. Distance from Waikawa Township about one quarter-mile.
