There were 31 deaths of persons of 65 years and upwards: Six men, 65 (two), 68, 69, 70, 77, and four women, 74, 75, 79, 92, died at Auckland; two men, 74, 85, and one woman, 65, at Wellington; two men, 78, 79, and two women, 82 (two), at Christchurch; and ten men, 65 (two), 67, 68, 72, 77, 78, 80, 83, 86, and four women, 66, 77, 79, 82, at Dunedin.
