SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 9 acres 2 roods 33 perches, more or less, being Reserve No. 1262, Block VI., Hinds Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by Reserve No. 2406, 984 links; towards the north-east by Rural Section No. 4391, 886·9 links; towards the south-east by Rural Sections Nos. 16006, 20713, 22356, and Lot 33 of the Town of Hinds Reserve, 1204·9 links; and towards the south-west by a public road, 914 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Christchurch.

Regulations under “The Mining Companies Act Amendment Act, 1897.”

RANFURLY, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section ten of “The Mining Companies Acts Amendment Act, 1897” (hereinafter called “the said Act”), and of all other powers enabling me in that behalf, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby, for the purposes of the said Act, make the following regulations, that is to say:—

REGULATIONS.

  1. Every foreign company, as defined in the said Act, shall, as soon as practicable after any yearly or half-yearly report or balance-sheet is submitted to any meeting of its shareholders held out of New Zealand, but, in any case, not later than three calendar months after such report or balance-sheet has been so submitted, publish in the Gazette a statement of the affairs of the company at the date to which such report or balance-sheet is prepared.

  2. The form in which the statement of affairs referred to in the last-preceding section is to be published shall be as follows, that is to say:—

STATEMENT OF AFFAIRS of the [Name of the company], being a Foreign Company as defined by Section 2 of “The Mining Companies Acts Amendment Act, 1897,” to , 189 , being date of last balance-sheet.

Dividends—
The total amount of dividends paid in the colony:

The amount of cash at banker’s in the colony:
The amount of cash in hand in the colony:

Debts—
The amount of debts directly due to the company in the colony:
The amount of such debts considered good:
The amount of the liabilities of the company (if any) in the colony:

I, , of , the Attorney of the Company (Limited [or as the case may be]), do solemnly and sincerely declare that this is a true and complete statement of the affairs of the said company as on the day of , 189 , being the date of the last balance-sheet; and I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true, and by virtue of “The Justices of the Peace Act, 1882.” [Signature.]

Trustees for the Glenorchy Public Cemetery appointed.

RANFURLY, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the sixth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the several persons whose names are specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto to be Trustees to provide for the maintenance and care of the public cemetery specified in the second column of the said Schedule.

Bounded towards the north by Coll Street, 265 links; towards the east by other part of Block XVIII. of said township, 755 links; towards the south by other part of Block XVIII. of said township, 265 links; towards the west by a street-line, 755 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Dunedin.
