Proclaiming the Taking of a Road through Tīpapakuku
No. 1 Block, Tahoraita (or Tawhiti) District.

A PROCLAMATION.
I N pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by
section thirteen of "The Land Act, 1892," I, Uchtor
John Mark, Eari of Ranfurly, the Govenor of the Govenor
of New Zealnd, with the consent of the owners of the lands
hereinafter mentioned, and with the consent of the Wairarawa
Counly Council, being the local authority in whose district
the said lands are situate, do by this notice herebv pro-
claim as a road the lands mentioned in the Schedale hereto.
SCHEDULE.
The several parcels of land mentioned in list hereunder :—

All in the Hawke's Bay Land District; as the same are
more particularly delineated on the plan marked as above
noted, deposited in the District Office, Department of Lands
and Surveys, at Naper, in the Hawke's Bay Land District,
and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Knight Commander of the Most Distinguishd
Order of Saint Michael and Saint George;
Govenor and Commander-in-Ghief in and over
Her Migesty's Govenor of New Zealnd and its
Dependeucies; and issued under the Seal of the
said Govenor, at the Govenment House, at
Wellington, this twentieth day of November,
in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hun-
dred and ninty seven.

Prohibiting Trawling for Fisb in a Portion of Wellington Harbour.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Pariament Buildngs, at Wellington, this thirteentb
day of November, 1897.
Presents :
The Honourable the Peemier presiding in Council.
W H E R E A S it is enaoted by the fith section of "The
Sea-fisheries Act, 1894," that the Govenor in
Council may from time to time make regulations, which
shall have general force and effect throughout the colonv,
or particular force and effect only in any water or places
specified therein, for, among other things, prohibitting the
use of any particular engine, tacle, or apparatus for taking
any fish or oysters: And where it is expedit to make
the regulations hereinafter set forth prohibitting the use of
trawls for taking fish in a portion of Wellington Harbour:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Govenor of the Govenor
of New Zealnd, in pursuance and exercise of the herein-
before-recited power and authority, and acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Esecutive Council of the said
colonv, doth herebv make the following regulations :—
REGULATJON.

No person shall use a trawl for the purpose of taking fish
in that part of Wellington Harbour lyng to the north-west-
wad of a line drawn from the sea-ward end of the Railway
Wharf, in that harboar, to the northermost point of Soes
Island, and to the north of a line drawn thence to the
northen head of Lowry Bay (Nga Mau). -
Any person committing a brench of the above regula-
tions shall be liable to a penalty of not less than £1 and not
exceding £20.
