Teachers' Saturday Season Tickets.

26. Teachers' Saturday Tickets will be issued at the following rate per term, not
    exceeding four months, or a term, to public-school teachers
    attending Saturday training-classes, or examinations held in connection with such
    classes :—
    (a.) All o w i n g t e a c h e r s t o t r a v e l t o c l a s s o r e x a m i n a t i o n o n F r i d a y a n d r e t u r n o n S a t u r d a y ... ... ... F i r s t C l a s s . 3 0 s . First Class. 30s.
    (b.) A l l o w i n g t e a c h e r s t o t r a v e l t o c l a s s o r e x a m i n a t i o n o n S a t u r d a y a n d r e t u r n o n M o n d a y ... ... ... 3 0 s . 30s.
    (c.) A l l o w i n g t e a c h e r s t o t r a v e l t o c l a s s o r e x a m i n a t i o n o n S a t u r d a y a n d r e t u r n t h e s a m e d a y ... ... ... 2 0 s . 20s.
    These tickets cannot be used unless the holder is proceeding to or coming from
    the training-school or exa m i n a t i o n . They will be issued conditionally on a roll of
    attendance being kept at each training-school or exa m i n a t i o n -class held in connection
    with such training-school, such roll to be open for i n s p e c t i o n by any officer of the
    Railway Department deput e d for that purpose .
    Application must be made in the following form, and certif i e d to by the Secretary
    of the Education Board before a ticket will be issued :—
    "FORM OF APPLICATION AND CERTIFICATE."
    "I herebey declare that I, , am empl oyed by the Education Board
    as teacher at D i s t r i c t School, and that I intent, during the session ending

•        , to attend the* *Teachers' training classes or University* *lectures at* *            ;* 

  and I herebey request the Railway Department to supply me with a *Teachers'*
  Saturday Season T i c k e t , at fa re as per (a) , which I undertake to use solely
  for the purpose of att e n d i n g the said t r a i n i n g classes or l e c t u r e s as indorsed, and
  subject to the by-laws, rules, and regulations in force on the New Zeal and Govern-*
  ment R a i l w a y s ; and I agree that the ticket shall be forf e i t e d should I at any time
  fa i l to obser ve s u c h by-laws, rules, and regulations, or to fulf i l this undertaking ."

School-boarders.

27. Tickets at single f a r e s for the double journey, available for return for two
    months from date of issue, will be issued to school-boarders returning home for
    holiday s at the end of recognised school-ter m s only, on production of certificate
    to the Stat i onmaster from the master or mistress of the school, in the following
    form :—
    "To the Stat i onmaster at * .*
    "I herebey certify that is a boarder attend i ng my school, that*

•        present age is* *            years* *            months, and that* *            is going home from* 

  School on the day of , 189 , for holiday s ; and I request
  that you will issue a class return ticket accor d i n g l y , from Stat i on
  to Stat i on ."

School Season Tickets.

28. Season Tickets available for three months will be issued to schol a r s and
    students at the following rates, and subject to the following conditions :— First Class. Second Class.
    For students and schol a r s not exceed i n g 16

•        years of age* *            ...* *            ...* *            ...* *            30s.* *            10s. * 

  For students and schol a r s over 16 and not

• exceed i n g 20 years .. ... ... 40s. 20s.
  For students and schol a r s over 20 years of age half the rate of ord i n a r y*
• three-mont h l y seas o n t i c k e t s will be charged. M i n i m u m charge, first*
• class, 50s.; second class, 30s. *
• A certificate in the following form must be produced from the professor or*
• schoolmaster that the applican t is a bonâ fide student or schol a r in attend a n c e at*
• college or school, and that his or her age is within the prescr i b e d limit :—
