Private Advertisements.
In the matter of a Bill to be intituled “An Act to provide for the Protection of Under-tenants of the Block of Land in the Provincial District of Taranaki called Mokau-Mohakatino No. 1F.”
NOTICE is hereby given that application is intended to be made at the present session of the General Assembly of New Zealand for leave to bring in a Bill to be intituled, “An Act to provide for the Protection of Under-tenants of the Block of Land in the Provincial District of Taranaki called Mokau-Mohakatino No. 1F”; and that the objects of such Bill are—

To provide that upon due payment to the Public Trustee by each of the said under-tenants of the rent reserved in and by the under-lease to him of any part of the said block, such under-tenant shall be absolutely freed from all liability to distress or eviction by reason of the non-payment of the rent payable to the Native lessors of the said block under the lease from such Native owners to their immediate lessee.

To provide for the due payment to such Native owners of the rent payable to them under such last-mentioned lease.
-
To provide for the appropriation of all moneys received by the Public Trustee under the provisions of the said Act.
And notice is hereby further given that copies of the said Bill will be deposited at the office of the Examiner of Standing Orders, at Wellington, within fourteen days after the commencement of the said session.

“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same.”

“That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that William Hickley Gundry, of Christchurch, Accountant, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.”
