NOTICE is hereby given that the several parcels of land
hereinafter described will be brought under the pro-
visions of “The Land Transfer Act, 1885,” unless caveat be
lodged forbidding the same within one month from the date
of the Gazette containing this notice.

  1. JAMES MAYS.—Lot 15 of Allotment 17, Sec-
    tion 2, Parish of Takapuna, containing 15 perches. In the
    occupation of John Breen.

  2. SARAH FIELDING.—Allotment 333, Section 2,
    of the Town of Tauranga, containing 1 rood. In the occu-
    pation of Frederick Hamilton Hammond.

Diagrams may be inspected at this office.

pany of New Zealand (Limited) did, on the 29th day
of April, 1897, pass a special resolution to wind up volun-
tarily, and that such resolution was confirmed at a meeting
of the company held on the 17th day of May, 1897.

TION (LIMITED), (IN LIQUIDATION).

AS the affairs of the above-named company are now
fully wound up, a Meeting of the Shareholders will

on Friday, the 19th November, 1897, at the hour of 3 o’clock
p.m.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN.

WHEREAS certain persons have constructed a tram-
way upon, and removed timber from, the under-
mentioned lands: Wherefore we, the undersigned owners of
Section 1528, part of Section 1544, and part of Section 1546,
on the public map or plan of the Greymouth Survey Dis-
trict, give you notice not to trespass upon any of the above-
mentioned lands, and warn you that we shall be bound to
prosecute such action as we may be advised, and, if neces-
sary, move the Supreme Court for an injunction, if trespass
is continued.

PATENT OFFICE SUPPLEMENT.

A SPECIAL Supplement to the New Zealand Gazette is
now published fortnightly, containing all notices con-
cerning patents and trade-marks required by law to be
gazetted; also, particulars of lapsed applications for patents,
expired letters patent, and other information useful to in-
ventors, manufacturers, and others. The Supplement will
be issued free to subscribers to the Gazette, and to others on
payment of a subscription of ten shillings per annum, pay-
able in advance to the Government Printer.

THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

SUBSCRIPTIONS.—The subscription is at the rate of 30s.
per annum, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than
three months cannot be subscribed for.

Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.

Advertisements are charged at the rate of 6d. per line for
the first insertion and 3d. per line for the second and any
subsequent insertion.

Statements under the Mining Act are uniformly charged
23s.

All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible
hand.

The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday even-
ing in each week, and notices for insertion must be received
by the Government Printer before three o’clock of the day
preceding publication.

Communications should be addressed to the Government
Printer, Wellington, to whom post-office money-orders
should be made payable. Cheques should be crossed “Pub-
lic a/c,” and exchange added.

Postage- or duty-stamps cannot be received in payment
from any place at which postal notes or post-office orders are
issued.

Prepayment may be demanded in any case. In order to
prevent delay in publication a sufficient remittance should
accompany every advertisement. Any surplus will be
returned with receipted account.
