NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT WATER-RACE.
Karamea District, 20th August, 1897.
To the Warden at Lyell.
I HEREBY give notice that I intend to construct a water-race to divert and use water for mining purposes, commencing at a point in Spring Creek, Three-channel Flat, the left-hand side of creek looking down stream, south side of Buller River, about 35 chains from main road, and terminating at my licensed holding, Three-channel Flat.
The water-race commences in Crown lands, and passes through my freehold sections Nos. 7 and 22, Inangahua Survey District.
The length of such race is one mile or thereabouts, and its intended course is south-west.
Term for which license is required: 15 years.
The mean depth of such race is 2 ft., and the mean breadth is 2 ft., and it is proposed to divert three Government heads of water.
Cost of construction: £100.
Time required for construction: Six months.
Number and date of miner’s right: No. 25312; 2nd August, 1897.

To the Warden at Lyell.
I HEREBY give notice that I intend to construct a water-race to divert and use water for mining purposes, commencing at a point in Dee Creek about 40 chains from main road on right-hand side of creek looking down stream, and terminating at Matteo Della Vedova’s application for a licensed holding, Three-channel Flat. About 24 chains of the water-race passes through Matteo Della Vedova’s freehold land.
The length of such race is 50 chains or thereabouts, and its intended course is north-west.
The mean depth of such race is 2 ft., and the mean breadth is 3 ft. 6 in.; and it is proposed to divert fifteen Government heads of water.
Cost of construction: £1,000.
Time required for construction: Twelve months.
Number and date of miner’s right: No. 15271; 31st March, 1897.
