"The Native Land Court Act, 1894."
IN THE NATIVE LAND COURT OF NEW ZEALAND,
AUCKLAND DISTRICT.
In the matter of "The Native Land Court Act, 1894," and of an application by Te Ata Erana, under section 39 of the said Act, for the inclusion of the name of her son, Ruka Tapata, as an owner in Kinohaku East No. 2, or Pakeho, Block.
WHEREAS the said application was referred by me to the Native Land Court for inquiry and report, and such inquiry was held at Otorohanga, on the 19th day of July, 1897, before Walter Edward Gudgeon, Esquire, a Judge of the said Court: And whereas, as the result of such inquiry, it appeared that an error had been made by the omission of the name of the said Ruka Tapata from the list of owners in the said block:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in me by section 39 aforesaid, I hereby order that the name of the said Ruka Tapata be included in the title to the said Kinohaku East No. 2 Block as the owner of one share therein, and that the order of the Court be amended accordingly; and I direct that this order be published in the Gazette and Kahiti.

NOTICE is hereby given that the sitting of the Native Appellate Court advertised to take place at Whanganui on the 2nd September, 1897, has been adjourned to the 8th September, 1897, at the same place.

In the matter of Division II., Part II., of "The Native Land Court Act, 1894," and in the matter of the proprietors of Wharepu.
At a sitting of the Court held at Whanganui on the 24th day of August, 1897, before Robert Ward, Esquire, Judge, and Benjamin F. J. Edwards, Assessor, upon the certificate duly lodged in Court by the chairman of the first general meeting of the proprietors, it is hereby ordered and declared that the following seven persons are appointed the committee for the proprietors of Wharepu:—
- Te Ture Reneti. 3. Rewi Reneti. 5. Te Aohau Nikitini. 7. Hawira Rehe.
- Eruini te Wiki. 4. Maihi Aperaniko. 6. Hoani Turi Whatahoro.
