A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by the one hundred and sixty-eighth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the allotments of Crown land respectively described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby set apart and declared open for lease as village-homestead allotments.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly; Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George; Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this sixteenth day of August, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety-seven.

Trustees for the Maintenance of the Mangaweka Public Cemetery appointed.

RANFURLY, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the sixth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the several persons whose names are specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto to be Trustees to provide for the maintenance and care of the public cemetery specified in the second column of the said Schedule.

Thomas Munro, MANGAWEKA.
Michael Crowley, All that parcel of land in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 acres and 24 perches, more or less, being Section No. 27, Mangaweka Village Settlement, Block X., Hautapu Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 25, Utikuputaka’s Reserve; towards the south-east by edge of cliffs, Rangitikei River; towards the south-west by a public road; and towards the north-west by Section No. 26: as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the District Lands and Survey Office, Wellington.
