Notice of Acceptance of Complete Specifications.

Wellington, 20th January, 1897.

COMPLETE specifications relating to the under-mentioned applications for Letters Patent have been accepted, and are open to public inspection at this office. Any person may, at any time within two months from the date of this Gazette, give me notice in writing of opposition to the grant of any such patent. Such notice must set forth the particular grounds of objection, and be in duplicate. A fee of 10s. is payable thereon.

No. 8467.—6th May, 1896.—PEAL GENN, of Linwood, near Christchurch, New Zealand. An invention for improvements in turnip-seed drills. (Specification, 6s. 6d.; drawings, 14s.)*

No. 8804.—1st September, 1896.—HENRY MONTGOMERY COPELAND and JAMES COPELAND, both of Palmerston North, Wellington, New Zealand, Farmers. An invention for an improved brake for carriages, machinery, and velocipedes. (Specification, 2s. 6d.; drawings, 5s. 6d.)

No. 9166.—4th January, 1897.—FREDERICK BILLING, of Livery Street, Birmingham, Warwick, England, Manufacturer, and WILLIAM EDWARD PARTRIDGE, of 74, Grange Road, Small Heath, Birmingham aforesaid, Traveller. An invention for improvements in the mode and means for joining tubing to sockets or to other lengths of tubing, which is specially applicable to the junctions of cycle- and motor-frames.
