In the matter of "The Companies Act, 1882," and its amendments; and in the matter of the Gallant Tipperary Quartz-mining Company (Limited).

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above-named company, duly convened, and held in St. Patrick's Schoolroom, at Arrowtown, on the 10th day of July, 1897, the following extraordinary resolutions (inter alia) were duly passed:—

  1. "That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same."

  2. "That the company be wound up voluntarily."

  3. "That William Brown, of Dunedin, Accountant, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up."

THE NELSON CREEK GOLD-MINING COMPANY (LIMITED).

THE following resolution was passed at a special general meeting of shareholders of the Nelson Creek Gold-mining Company (Limited) held on the 16th day of June last, and the same was confirmed at a special general meeting held on the 7th day of July—i.e., "That the company be wound up voluntarily."
