THE OPHIR AND IND GOLD-DREDGING COMPANY (LIMITED).

THE following extraordinary resolutions were duly passed at an extraordinary general meeting of the Ophir and Ind Gold-dredging Company (Limited), held at Port Chalmers on Monday, the 19th day of July, 1897:—

“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the company that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and that accordingly the company be wound up voluntarily under the provisions in that behalf of ‘The Companies Act, 1882.’”

“That Mr. C. S. Hodge, of Port Chalmers, be appointed Liquidator for the purpose of winding up the affairs of the company.”
