NOTICE OF INTENT TO CONSTRUC T WATERRACE.

Hauraki M ining District, 11th June, 1897.

To the W arden at Paeroa.

I HEREBY give notice that I inten d to construct a water
r a ce to div ert and use water for mining pur poses,
commencing at a point on the first branch on the left -hand
side of Peel's C reek about three -qu arters of a mile from its
j unction with Peel's C reek, and term inating at Peel's C reek
about 50 ch ains above the j unction of the said left -hand
br an ch with Peel's C reek.

The length of such race is three -qu arters of a mile or
th ereabouts, and its inten ded course is easterly.

Marked out, 3 p.m., 10th June, 1897. Mark on p egs, —.
The mean depth of such race is 1 ft. 6 in., and the mean
b readth is 2 ft., and it is proposed to div ert three Govern
ment heads of water.

Cost of construction : £300.

Time required for construction : Tw elve months.

Number and date of min er's right : No. 1864 ; 9th
J uly, 1896.
