to be Trustees, in the place of Frank Stephen Canning and Thomas Langton Lockton, resigned, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Kaponga Public Cemetery, in conjunction with the other person appointed by a warrant under the hand of His Excellency the Governor on the fourth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-nine.

THE following special order, made by the Otaki Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Road Boards Act, 1882.”

OTAKI ROAD BOARD.—SPECIAL ORDER.—SPECIAL DISTRICT No. 7.
That, to secure the repayment of a loan of £350, raised under “The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886,” for the purpose of constructing the Rangiuru-by-the-Sea District Road, a special rate of ⅞d. in the pound be made and levied over the following land: namely, Sections 1 to 95, Rangiuru-by-the Sea Township; Native Reserves, Parimata 15a and Waiariki 1b, Waitohu Survey District VIII. Such rate to be an annually-recurring rate for twenty-six years, and shall be payable in two half-yearly instalments, on the 1st day of June and the 1st day of December in each and every succeeding year.
I hereby certify that the above special order was duly made on the 1st day of May, 1897, and confirmed by the Board at a special meeting held on the 5th June, 1897, as required by “The Road Boards Act, 1882.”
