IN THE SUPREME COURT OF NEW ZEALAND.

In the matter of “The Election Petitions Act, 1880.”

IT is hereby notified that I have, in pursuance of the provisions of “The Election Petitions Act, 1880,” named myself and his Honour Mr. Justice Conolly to be the Judges of the Supreme Court before whom shall be tried the petitions presented by Edwin Bezar and Ernest Edward Edmunds against the return and election of Thomas Mason Wilford as member of the House of Representatives for the Electoral District of the Wellington Suburbs, and the petition presented by Arthur Richmond Atkinson praying that a scrutiny may be had and held of the votes given and tendered at the election for the City of Wellington, holden on the 4th December last, of members of the House of Representatives, and that it may be determined that George Fisher was not duly elected or returned as a member of the said House for the said city, and that the said Arthur Richmond Atkinson was duly elected and ought to have been returned, and, in the alternative, that the election of the said George Fisher may be declared void; and also the petition presented by George Grantham against the return and election of Walter Clarke Buchanan as member of the House of Representatives for the Electoral District of Wairarapa.
