NOTICE is hereby given that RICHMOND HURSTHOUSE, of Taitapu, in the Provincial District of Nelson, has been appointed Attorney for the Taitapu Gold Estates (Limited); and that the Office of the Taitapu Gold Estates (Limited), where legal proceedings of any kind may be served upon it, and to which notices of any kind may be addressed or given, is situated at Parkeston, West Wanganui, in the Provincial District of Nelson.

EDINA GOLD-DREDGING COMPANY (LIMITED).
AT an extraordinary meeting of shareholders held on the 8th May, 1897, the following resolutions were adopted:—

That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and it is advisable that it be wound up.

That the Company be wound up voluntarily.
And that Mr. Andrew Hamilton, Dunedin, be appointed Liquidator.

Land Transfer Act Notices.
APPLICATION having been made to me by PATRICK ORMOND, of Roxburgh, Hotelkeeper, to register a discharge of mortgage No. 7004 over Sections 1 and 2, Block III., Town of Roxburgh, comprised in Crown grant, Vol. viii., folio 239, and certificate of title, Vol. xxv., folio 239, respectively (Helen Longmore, wife of Robert Longmore, of Crookston, mortgagee), and to issue provisional certificates of title to the said sections, and also to Section 5, Block X., Teviot District, comprised in certificate of title, Vol. xcviii., folio 255:
Satisfactory evidence having been lodged of the loss of the said mortgage, Crown grant, and certificates of title, I hereby give notice that I shall register the said discharge, as empowered by section 38 of “The Land Transfer Act, 1885,” unless caveat be lodged here forbidding the same within fourteen days from the date of publication hereof; and that I shall issue provisional certificates of title for the said sections to the said Patrick Ormond, as requested, on the expiration of fourteen days as aforesaid.
