Bounded towards the north-west, 749 links, by Section G; towards the north-east 1000 links, again on the north-west 143·4 links, and again on the north-east 578·8 links, by Torquay Street; towards the south-east, 302·4 and 308·2 links respectively, by Crown land; towards the south, 569·6 links, by a public road; and towards the north-west, 1252·9 links, by Scarborough Street: excepting the public road intersecting the said Section J: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Blenheim. CANTERBURY.

All that parcel of land in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 acres 3 roods 37 perches, more or less, being Section No. 3065 (in red) in the Town of South Rakaia. Bounded towards the north-west by the Main South Road; towards the north-east by the Acton Road; and towards the south-east by the road forming the north-western boundary of Rural Section No. 19660: save and except two roads, each 100 links wide, which intersect the area hereby decribed; as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Christchurch. For plantation purposes.

All that parcel of land in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being Section No. 3188 (in red), Block II., Corwar Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by a road-line, 501·4 links; towards the north-east by a road-line, 1018·7 links; towards the south-east by Section No. 36 of Highbank Settlement, 500 links; and towards the south-west by the last-mentioned section and Section No. 8 of Highbank Village, 981·3 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on the plan A.L. 56, deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Christchurch. OTAGO.

All that parcel of land in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 42 acres and 15 perches, more or less, being Section No. 55, Block III., Lauder Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by part of the Otago Central Railway Reserve, 4126 links; towards the east by a road-line, 2707 links; and towards the south by Section No. 54 of same block and district, 3110 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Dunedin. For a gravel reserve.

All that parcel of land in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 6 acres 2 roods 4 perches, more or less, being Sections Nos. 31, 32, and 33 of Block XVI., Town of Moeraki. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 29 of same block, 326 links, also by Sections Nos. 4, 5, and 6 of Block IV. of said town, 394 links; towards the east by railway reserve, 381 links; towards the south by street-line marked A, 1368 links; and towards the west by Sections Nos. 29 and 30 of same block, 468 links and 638 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Dunedin. All that parcel of land in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 10 acres 3 roods, more or less, being Section No. 22 of Block I., Highlay Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by a road-line, 631 links; towards the east by Crown lands, 1464 links; towards the south by Crown lands, 1276 links; and towards the west by Crown lands, 960 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Dunedin. IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one hundred and thirty-sixth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, James Prendergast, the Administrator of the Government of the Colony of New Zealand, having received the report of the Surveyor-General in this behalf, as in the said section is provided, do hereby declare that the rural lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for sale or selection on and after the thirtieth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-seven; and also that the lands mentioned in the said Schedule may, at the option of the applicant, be purchased for cash, or be selected for occupation with right of purchase or on lease in perpetuity, or, in respect of any lands containing or supposed to contain any metal, mineral, or valuable stone, be selected on lease in perpetuity only; and I do hereby also fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold, occupied, or leased, as mentioned in the said Schedule hereto, and do declare that the said lands shall be sold, occupied, or leased under and subject to the provisions of “The Land Act, 1892.”
