thousand eight hundred and ninety-four, making delegation
of certain powers in manner as therein appears; and doth,
with the like advice and consent, by this present Order,
delegate, but only with respect to the pieces or parcels of
land described in the Schedule hereto, all the powers con-
ferred by the Act aforesaid, except the powers under or con-
ferred by sections five and twelve thereof, to the under-
mentioned persons, who shall be known as the Kowai Public
Domain Board, namely,—

FRANK COURAGE,
SAMUEL COLEMAN,
GEORGE BAYNTON STARKY,
THOMAS MCNAUGHT,
THOMAS HENRY EVANS,
BRYAN FLYNN,
WILLIAM SIMPSON SMITH,
GEORGE TICKNER,
GEORGE DEAN GREENWOOD, and
ALEXANDER MCLEAN

(hereinafter referred to as “the Board”), subject to the stipu-
lations hereinafter contained, that is to say,—

  1. The Board shall meet for the transaction of business on
    the first Wednesday in each month, at eleven o’clock a.m.,
    at the office of the Chairman, or at such other time or place
    as may from time to time be fixed by the Board. The first
    meeting shall be held on Wednesday, the second day of
    June, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-seven.

  2. Special meetings may be convened by the Chairman or
    by any two members of the Board, provided that two days’
    notice of such meeting be given to each member, specifying
    the business to be transacted at such special meeting, and
    no other business than that so specified shall be transacted
    at such meeting.

  3. Any three of the said Board shall form a quorum. Any
    meeting may be adjourned from time to time.

  4. The members of the Board shall, at their first meeting,
    and thereafter at an annual meeting to be held on the first
    Monday in December in every succeeding year thereafter,
    elect one of themselves to be Chairman, who may join in the
    discussion, and shall have an original as well as a cast-
    ing vote. The Chairman shall hold office until the election
    of his successor.

  5. If at any meeting the Chairman is not present at the
    time appointed for holding the same, the members present
    shall choose some one of their number to be chairman of
    such meeting.

  6. If, by resignation, death, or incapacity, or otherwise,
    the office of Chairman shall be or become vacant, the mem-
    bers may at any monthly or special meeting appoint a
    Chairman.

  7. All questions shall be determined by the majority of
    votes of the members of the Board present at a meeting.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land in the Canterbury Land District,
containing by admeasurement 213 acres, more or less, being
Reserve No. 2066, situated in Block VIII., Grey Survey Dis-
trict. Bounded towards the north-east by Innes Road and
Reserve No. 1675; towards the south-east by Tobin’s Road;
towards the south-west by R. S. No. 19023; and towards the
north-west by R.S. No. 28735.

All that parcel of land in the Canterbury Land District,
containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being
Reserve No. 2777, situate in the Teviotdale Survey District.
Bounded towards the north-west by the North Road, 943
links; towards the north-east by Cross Street, 315 links;
towards the eastward by Terrace Road, 668 links; and
towards the south by Lot 52, subdivision of Reserve No. 89,
918 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the
same is delineated on the plan deposited in the District
Survey Office, Christchurch.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this third day
of May, 1897.

Present:

His Excellency the Administrator of the Government
in Council.

IN exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities
vested in him by “The Public Domains Act, 1881,”
His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the
Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby revoke a certain
Order in Council, dated the seventeenth day of October, one
thousand eight hundred and ninety-two, making delegation
of certain powers in manner as therein appears; and doth,
with the like advice and consent, by this present Order,
delegate, but only with respect to the pieces or parcels of
land described in the Schedule hereto, all the powers con-
ferred by the Act aforesaid, except the powers under or con-
ferred by sections five and twelve thereof, to the under-
mentioned persons, who shall be known as the Epsom
Domain Board, namely,—

FRANK LAWRY,
ARTHUR HEATHER,
SAMUEL HESKETH,
WILLIAM S. COCHRANE, and
JOHN BROWN

(hereinafter referred to as “the Board”), subject to the
stipulations hereinafter contained, that is to say,—

    Mr. Cochrane’s office, Insurance Buildings, Auckland, or at
    such other time or place as may from time to time be fixed
    by the Board. The first meeting shall be held on Friday, the
    fourth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-
    seven.

  2. Special meetings may be convened by the Chairman or
    by any two members of the Board, provided that two days’
    notice of such meeting be given to each member, specifying
    the business to be transacted at such special meeting; and
    no other business than that so specified shall be transacted
    at such meeting.

taining by admeasurement 11 acres 2 roods 16 perches, more
or less, being Lot No. 182 of Section No. 10, Suburbs of
Auckland, Parish of Waitemata, Otahuhu Survey District.
Bounded on the north by a line, 1365 links; on the east by
a road-line, 850 links; on the south by Lot No. 181, 1365
links; and on the west by a road-line, 850 links: be all the
aforesaid linkages more or less.

Also, all that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District,
containing by admeasurement 4 acres 3 roods 33 perches,
more or less, being Lot No. 180 of Section No. 10 of the
Suburbs of Auckland, Otahuhu Survey District. Bounded
towards the north by Lot No. 68 of Section No. 10, Suburbs
of Auckland, 800 links; towards the east by Lot No. 69A of
section aforesaid, 620 links; towards the south by Windmill
Road, 800 links; and towards the west by Lot No. 179 of
Section No. 10, Suburbs of Auckland aforesaid, 620 links:
be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

Also, all that parcel of land in the Auckland Land Dis-
trict, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 2 roods 36
perches, more or less, and known as Allotment No. 180A of
Section No. 10, Suburbs of Auckland, situate in Block I.,
Otahuhu Survey District. Bounded towards the north by
Allotments Nos. 180 and 69A, 680 links; towards the east by
a road, 534 links; and towards the south-west and west by a
road, 163, 279, 217, 96, and 248 links: be all the aforesaid
linkages more or less.
