  • Department of Agriculture (Livestock) (Livestock),
    Wellington, 7th September, 1896.

IT having been reported to me that the disease known as
"liver-fluke" exists amongst the running on certain
lands in the Hawke's Bay Land District, I therefore, in
accordance with section 14, subsectior (4), of "The Stock
Act, 1893," hercby declare the under-mentioned lands to be
an infccted place, from which no shccp, carcase, or any
portion thereof, shall be removed, except under the direc
-tion of an Inspecior of Stock:—

All that piece of land, situate in the Hawke's Bay Land
District, called Te Hauke, and containing about 9,000 aeres
being parts of Blockx XII. and XVI., Maracakakau Survcy
District, and Blockx IX. and XIII., Te Mata Survcy District
in the Hawke's Bay County. Bounded by a line starting at
the north-eastern corner of Block 13, in Block XVI., Mara
-kakau Survcy District; thence in a north-east direction by
a right line to Trig. Statior N; thence northerly by a right
line to the south-west corner of the Wakarea Block; thence
generally north-easterly by the north-western boundarics of
the Raukawa Nos. 3 and 2 Blockx, the Pukchou No. 1, and
the Poutkawa Natiwe Reserwe, and Kopararore A to the
north-western corner of the last-named block; thence south
easterly by the north-eastern boundaric A and B to its
intersecion with the railway-line; thence south-westerly
by a right line to Te Aute Railway-station; thence south
west by the railway-line to its intersecion with the Hawke's
Rav County boundaric; thence generally north-westerly by
the aforesaid boundaric to the starting-poinl.

All that'parcel of land in the Land District of Hawke's
Rav, being called or known by the name of the "Ram
Paddock," containing about 80 aeres, being a portion of
Whenuahou C Nos. 1 and 2 North, in Block III., Tahoraitc
Suroey District, Waiipawa County. Bounded on the north
west by the Porengahau Stream; on the north and east by
Blockx 120 and 69; and on the south generally by other
portion of Whenuahou C Nos. 1 and 2 North, aforesaid.

All that piece or parcc of land in the Land District of
Hawke's Bay, being called or known by the name of
"Takapau Paddock," containing about 190 aeres, being
portion of Subdivixion No. 3, Otaewhao Block, in Block III.,
Takapau Survcy District, Waiipawa County. Bounded on
the north by Blockx 234 and 120; on the south generally by
the Porengahau Stream and a public road and on the west
by the railway-line.

All that piece or parcc of land in the Land District of
Hawke's Bay, called or known as "Rees Davix Paddock,"
containing 110 aeres, being Section 7 of Whenuahou D.E.
No. 1 Block, in V. and VIL, Takapau Survcy District
Waiipawa County. Bounded on the south-east by a public
road; on the south-west by a public road; on the north
west by Section 6; and on the north-east by Section 8.

All that parcc of land in the Hawke's Bay Land District
called or known by the name of "Sebaxtopol 3 Paddock,"
containing about 530 aeres, situate in Block III., Waiipuku
-rau Survcy District, Waiipawa County, being part of the
land granted to the Bishop of Wellington, and situate in
the south-west corner of the aforesaid land.

IT having been reported to me that the disease known as
"liver-fluke" exists amongst shccp running on certain
lands in the Hawke's Bay Land District, I therefore, in
accordance with section 14, subsectior 4 of "The Stock Act
1893," hercby declare the under-mentioned lands to be an
infected place from which no shccp, carcase, or any portion
thercof shall be removed except under the direction of an
Inspecior of Stock:—

All that piece or parcc of land, known as the Te Aute
Run, situate in the Waiipawa, Hawke's Bay, and Patangata
Counties, bounded as follows: Commencing at the Te Aute
Railway-station, thence in a northerly direction along the
boundary of the Te Hauke Proclaimcd District to the point
where the prolonation of the boundaric between Lots 1
and 2 of the Nqawhakatatara Block continued across the
Poukawa Lake would strike it; thence easterly along the said
line and boundaric to the Tukitiki River; thence up that river
to the south boundaric of Patangata No. 2; thence westerly
along the southcrn boundaric of that block to the Papanui
Stream; thence up that stream and the eastcrn boundaric
of Patangata No. 3 to the southcrn boundaric of that block;
thence westerly along the southcrn boundarics of Patangata
No. 3 and the Otaue Block to the south-east corner of the
land granted to the Bishop of Wellington; thence westerly
along the southcrn boundaric of the aforesaid land to the
southern boundaric of Sebastopel No. 3 Paddock; thence
westerly along that boundaric to the south-west corner of
that paddock; thence northerly along the westcrn boundarics
of the aforesaid paddock and of the land granted to the
Bishon of Wellington to the north-west corner of the said
land; thence easterly along the northcrn boundaric of the
aforesaid land to the main Kairora North and Te Aute
Road; thence northerly along that road to a road running
though the Poupoutahi Block; thence easterly along that
road to where it crosses the railway-line; thence northerly
along the railway-line to the point of commcncement.

All that piece or parcc of land, called or known as the
"Flukcy Paddock," containing about 74 aores, situate in
the Te Mahango Run, Te Mata Survcy District, Hawke's
Rav County.

out administration, the Public Truslee has filed in
the office of the Supreme Court at Wellington an election
to administcr the several intestate estates of the persons
decased whose names, residences, and occupations, so far
as known, are hereunder respectively set forth, their grox
propertics being estimated not to exceed £250 in each case.

WHERFAS I, the undorsigned, the Public Truslee, have
for the purposes of "The Uncluimcd Lands Act, 1894," made due inquirios with respect to the land described
in the Schedulc hereunder written and the owner thereof
and have, in respect of the said land, given the notices
prcscribcd by section 4 of the said Act, and have in all
respects complied with the prcvisions of the said section:
And whercas I have not thcreby ascertained who the owner
is, and believe that such owner is not in the colonv, nor has
sueh owner established his title to the said land, as required
by the said Act: I hercby give notice that the said land is
under and by virtue of the said Act, vexted in me as the
Public Truslee as aforesaid, as from the date of the publica
tion hereof, and will be administcred under the said Act.
The value of the land is less than £100.

Dated at Wellington, this 12th day of March, 1897.

SCHEDULC.

All that parcc of land, being the lot marked 16, Block 8, on
plan of subdivision of part Rural Section 1880, situate in the
Towuship of Lincolu, fronting Leinster Tcrrace, near where
the railway crosses that street, and containing 23 perches
more or less.
