Notifying Lands in Marlborough for Sale by Public Auction.
GLASGOW, Governor.
IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon
me by the one hundred and thirteenth section of "The
Land Act, 1892," I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor
of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Wednesday,
the thirty-first day of March, one thousand eight hundred
and ninety-seven, as the time at which the lands enumerated
in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction at
Blenheim; and I do hereby fix the prices at which the said
lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule
hereto following the description of such lands.

Rural Lands in the Canterbury Land District open for
Selection on Lease in Perpetuity.
GLASGOW, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by "The Land for Settlements Act,
1894," and the one hundred and thirty-sixth section of
"The Land Act, 1892," I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, having received
the report of the Surveyor-General in this behalf, as in the
said one hundred and thirty-sixth section is provided, do
hereby declare that the rural lands enumerated in the
Schedule hereto shall be open for selection on and after the
twenty-fourth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and
ninety-seven, and that the said lands may be selected on lease
in perpetuity, subject to the provisions of "The Land Act,
1892"; and I do hereby declare that the rentals at which
the said lands shall be leased shall be those mentioned in
the said Schedule hereto opposite the description of such
lands respectively.

Altering Legal Landing-places at Wellington.
GLASGOW, Governor.
IN exercise of the power in me for this purpose vested by
"The Customs Laws Consolidation Act, 1882," I,
David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony of New
Zealand, do hereby annul the Order numbered one hundred
and forty, and dated the thirty-first day of January, one
thousand eight hundred and ninety-one, in which the legal
landing-places for the Port of Wellington were set out and
appointed, and in lieu thereof do declare and appoint that,
from the day of the date hereof, the wharves known as
The Queen's Wharf,
Jervois Quay (from the Queen's Wharf as far as the
southern end of the berth known as No. 14),
The Wool Jetty,
The Railway Wharf, and
The Wharf connecting the Wool Jetty and Railway
Wharf at their heads,
shall be deemed and taken to be legal landing-places at the
Port of Wellington for the lading and unlading of goods
under "The Customs Laws Consolidation Act, 1882."
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this twenty-eighth day of January, one thousand
eight hundred and ninety-seven.

upon me by the eleventh section of "The Reserves
Disposal and Exchange Act, 1895," I, David, Earl of
Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do
hereby appoint Wednesday, the twelfth day of May, one
thousand eight hundred and ninety-seven, as the time at
which the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be
sold by public auction; and I do hereby fix the prices at
which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the
said Schedule hereto, following the description of such lands
respectively.
