Proclaiming Roads as closed through Lands in the Ardgowan Estate, Waitaki County.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of “The Land for Settlements Act Amendment Act, 1895,” I, David, Earl of Glasgow, Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, with the consent of the Waitaki County Council, do by this notice hereby proclaim as closed the roads in the Ardgowan Estate, Waitaki County, mentioned in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

THE parcels of land mentioned hereunder:—

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable David, Earl of Glasgow; Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George; Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this nineteenth day of January, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety-seven.

Proclaiming the Taking of a Road through Private Lands in Sections 27 and 45, Block XI., Mangaone Survey District, Wairarapa North County.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, David, Earl of Glasgow, Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, with the consent of the owners and tenants and mortgagees of the lands hereinafter mentioned, and with the consent of the Wairarapa North County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said lands are situated, do by this notice hereby proclaim as a road the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by the second section of “The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act Amendment Act, 1891” (herein termed “the said Act”), it is, amongst other things, enacted that, before certain moneys therein mentioned shall be expended upon any block of land, it shall be necessary that the same be proclaimed as set apart for settlement:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of every power and authority enabling me in this behalf, and for the purposes of the said Act, I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim the parcels of land described in the Schedule hereto as set apart for settlement.
