Land set apart for an Improved-farm Special Settlement.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred by the one hundred and sixty-second section of “The Land Act, 1892,” and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the block of land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart and declared open for a special settlement.


SCHEDULE.

ADDITION TO AKITIO IMPROVED SMALL-FARM SETTLEMENT BLOCK.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 2,324 acres 1 rood, more or less, situate in Mount Cerberus Survey District, being Sections Nos. 3A and 3B, Block II.; 11, 11A, 13, and 13A, Block III.; 2A, 2B, 4A, 4B, 5A, 5B, 7, 8, 8A, 8B, 11A, 11B, 12, 12A, 14, 14A, and 14B, Block VI.: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 28119, deposited at the Head Office of the Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington.

Cancelling Proclamation taking Land for a School-site in the Pelorus Valley.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by the twenty-second section of “The Public Works Act, 1894,” it is, among other things, enacted that, in any case where a Proclamation has been issued taking lands for any public work, and where, before such Proclamation has been registered by the District Land Registrar as by the said Act provided, it is found that such Proclamation incorrectly describes the land purporting to be taken, the Governor may by a subsequent Proclamation cancel and annul such first-mentioned Proclamation, or any part thereof: And whereas the land mentioned in the Schedule to a Proclamation made under the said Act, dated the twenty-fourth day of September, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-six, taking land for a school-site in the Pelorus Valley, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the first day of October, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-six, is incorrectly described, and such Proclamation has not been registered by the District Land Registrar as provided by the said Act:

Now, therefore, I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by “The Public Works Act, 1894,” do by this Proclamation hereby cancel and annul the said Proclamation dated the twenty-fourth day of September, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-six, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the first day of October, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-six, taking land for a school-site in the Pelorus Valley.

Land taken for Drainage-works in the Aorangi Drainage District.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under “The Public Works Act, 1894,” for a certain work, to wit, the construction of a drain in the Aorangi Drainage District:

And whereas the Aorangi Land Drainage Board has laid before the Governor the memorial, accompanied by a map, required by the said Act:

Now, therefore, I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the construction of the said drain.

3G of Lower Aorangi Block A. R. P. 15 1 16 Block XVI., Te Kawau Survey District S.G. 26141B Red.

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated upon the plans marked as above stated, deposited in the Head Office of the Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under “The Public Works Act, 1894,” for a certain work, to wit, the construction of a road in Section 48A, Block XV., Christchurch Survey District:

And whereas the Heathcote Road Board has laid before the Governor the memorial, accompanied by a map, and also the statutory declaration, required by the said Act:

Now, therefore, I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the construction of the said road.
