NOTICE is hereby given that John Power and Harry White, trading as "J. Power and Co.," of Hastings, Tobacconists, were this day adjudged bankrupt; and I hereby summon a meeting of creditors, to be held at the Court-house, Hastings, on Wednesday, the 18th day of November, 1896, at 2.30 o'clock.

Mining Notices.

I, the undersigned, hereby make application to register the Wentworth Gold-mining Company as a no-liability company under the provisions of "The Mining Companies Act, 1894."

  1. The name of the company is to be the Wentworth Gold-mining Company (No Liability).

  2. The place of operations (or intended operations) is at Whangamata.

  3. The registered office of the company will be situated at No. 14, Palmerston Buildings, Auckland.

  4. The value of the company's property, including claim or lease ground and machinery, is four thousand pounds.
