N OTICE is hereb given that at an extraordinar
meeting of the above company, held at the com-
pan's office, 119, Victori Arcade, Auckland, 2nd October,
1896, the following resolution was carried unanimosly,
viz.:-
"To increase the capital of the company by converting
fourteen thousand shares, paid up to one shilling and six-
pence, into contributin shares paid up to eightpence
each. "

To the Warden at St. Batan's.
I HEREBY give notice that I intent to construct a
water-race to divert and use water for minin pur-
poses, commencing at a point in the Dunsan Cree in Sec-
tion 23, Block II., Blackstone District, and terminatin on
Section 45, Block II., Blackstone District, near the Manu-
herikia River, taking in on its course a creek known as
Threemile Cree.
The length of such race is two miles or thereabouts, and
its intended course is from north-west to south-east.
The mean depth of such race is 2ft., and the mean
width is 3ft., and it is proposed to divert eight Govern-
ment heads of water.
Cost of construction: £60.
Time required for construction: One year.
Number and date of min's right: 16603; 12/10/96.
