Land set apart for Village Settlements in the Wellington Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by the one hundred and sixty-eighth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the allotments of Crown land respectively described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby set apart and declared open for lease as village-homestead allotments.

SCHEDULE.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.

Mangaramarama Village-homestead Settlement.

Section 83, 11 acres 2 roods 16 perches.

Section 84, 16 acres 3 roods 32 perches.

Karewarewa Village-homestead Settlement Extension.

Section 23A, 100 acres.

Section 23B, 100 acres.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable David, Earl of Glasgow; Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George; Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-fourth day of January, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety-six.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the one hundred and seventy-second section of “The Land Act, 1892,” and of every other power and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall be subject to the provisions of sections one hundred and seventy-two to one hundred and eighty-six of Part V. of “The Land Act, 1892,” relating to small grazing-runs.

Little River Road Board subject to Provisions of “The Public Bodies’ Powers Act, 1887.”

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-fifth day of January, 1896.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE R. J. SEDDON PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the Little River Road Board, being a leasing authority within the meaning of “The Public Bodies’ Powers Act, 1887” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), has requested that these presents should issue, and it appears expedient to make the order hereinafter contained:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers conferred upon him by the said Act, and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that the Little River Road Board shall, as from the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, be subject to the provisions of the said Act.

ERRATUM.—In New Zealand Gazette No. 89, page 1874 of 1895, in Schedule of Warrant of 3rd December, 1895, temporarily reserving lands for various public purposes, in third line, for “Wade’s Island, Turanga Creek, Turanga Parish,” read “Wade’s Island, Turanga Creek, Pakuranga Parish.”
