Private Advertisements.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR WIDENING PERRY STREET, MASTERTON.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of "The Public Works Act, 1894," to execute a certain public work, to wit, the widening of Perry Street, in the Borough of Masterton, and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is further given that the plan of the said work and of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the office of the Borough Council at Masterton, and is there open for inspection. And notice is hereby given that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land shall, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Masterton Borough Council.

NOTICE UNDER "THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1894."

NOTICE is hereby given that the Wallace County Council propose to take part of Section 4, Block V., Jacob's River Hundred, for a public road—viz., that portion of land, containing 1 acre, commencing at a point on the boundary of Sections 4 and 5 of said block 889·8 links south-east of the most northerly corner of said Section 4; thence, at a bearing of 259°, a distance of 895·6 links; thence, at a bearing of 205° 22', a distance of 124·5 links; thence, at a bearing of 79°, a distance of 1105 links; thence, at a bearing of 295° 22', a distance of 168·6 links, to the starting-point—and that the said Council have caused a plan to be prepared showing the land required to be taken for the same, together with the names of the owners and occupier thereof as far as they can be ascertained; and that said plan is deposited at the office of the said Council, Riverton, and open for inspection by all persons at all reasonable hours. And all persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objection to the execution of such work or the taking of such lands, and to send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Wallace County Council, at their office at Riverton.
