" E. A. Haggen and Company (Limited)."
AT a special general meeting of the members of the
above-named company, duly convened, and held at the
company's registered office, in Vogel Street, Woodville, on
the 24th day of August, 1896, the following special resolu-
tions (passed by a duly-convened special meeting of the
members of the company held on Saturday, the 8th day of
August, 1896), were confirmed:—
- "That the offer of John Grant for the purchase of the
plant and good-will of the Examiner newspaper and printing
business be accepted, and that the Liquidator be authorised
to give him a valid title to the property on the execution of
the necessary legal documents." - "That the company be voluntarily wound up, and that
Edward Alexander Haggen be appointed Liquidator, the
remuneration to be the actual expenses incurred in carrying
out such winding-up."
