NOTICE is herebv given that it is proposed to take under the above-mentioned Acte all that piece of land sitnated in the Town of Greymouth, Block VIL., Natiye Reaerve No. 31, being part of Section No. 322, and contain- ing by admeasurment 1 00e 3 rood 29 1 perches, more or leas, commencing at apeg marked A, and bounded on the north by lines beariug 94° 8', 110° 57', and 115° 42', and dis- tances 215-3, 258, and 124 links respectively; on the east by a line beariug due aouth for 4279 links; on the south by a line beariug 290° 57' for 500 links; and on the west by a line beariug due north for 3623 links, to the starting-poiut, for the purpose of erecting engine and other sheda thereon: and a plan showing the lands required to be taken, together with the name of the owner of such land, has been prepared, and is open for iuspection by all persons, during office-hous, at the Greymouth Harbour Board office, situate in Gresson Street, Greymouth. NOTICE is herebv given that a petitiou for the winding- up of the above-named company, subject to the super- vision of the Supreme Court, was, on the tweaty-aecond day of January, one thousand eight hundred and nioety-six, presented to Mr. Justice Denoiston, aJudge of the Supreme Court, by Joseph Tayloe, a contributory of the said com- pany. And the said petitiou is directed to be heard before a Jodge of the said Court on the twentieth day of February, one thousand eight hundred and nioety-six; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to oppose the making of an order for the winding-up of the said company, subject to the supervision of the said Court, should appear at the time of hearing, by himself or his counsel, for that purpose. NOTICE is herebv given that the Paitnership hitherto existing between BENJAMIN EDWAKD TODHUNTER and HENRY WILUAM JENNIUGS, trading together at Christchurch as Auctioueers and Stock and Commission Agents, under the style or firm of "Todhunter and Jeuings," has been dissolved as from the 23rd day of October, 1895, by effiusion of time. DURING dredging operations in Yictoria Channel the dredge "Vulcan" will exbit the following eignals to passing vesele:—
At night, two darkred lights vertical on dredge's port (or channel) side.
During the day the dredge will haul to the east or guide- post side of the channel.
See 102nd clauae of Harbou Regulatiou, which reads as follows:—
"Stearners on approaohing within half a mile of any veasel being towed or aground, or any of the Board's dredges, whether at work or only moored, shall go dead slow until eafely past such veseel or dredge.Boy
