LOCAL R A T E S—continued.
All descrlptions of merchandise, timher, minerals, or live-stock, not otherwise
specified, hauled between the Railway-station and the Railway Wharf at Auckland
will be charged 2s. 6d. per truck. Double-bogie truoks will be charged double rate.
Pumice and Warkato coals will be hauled between the Railway-station and the
Railway Wharf at Auckland free of charge.
Bricks, consigned by rail from country stakions for shipm ent, will be hauled from
the Railway-station to the Railway Wharf at Auckland free of charge.
NAPIER-TARANAKI SECTJON.
Goodsof Classes A, B, C, D, E, N, P, between Palmerston and Longbarn, booked
b etween Pal m erston and statio ns on the Wellington- Manawatu Railway Company's
line, will be charged 2s. 6d. per ton; and Class H 6d. per bale undumped, 1s. per
bale double-dumped.
The maximum rate for butter and ch eese, in 4 -ton lots, consigned by way of the
Manawatu Company's line to Wellington, will be 40s. per ton.
Limed pelts and tallow, in casks, consigned from Longbarn to Foxton, will be
charged 7s. 6d. per ton, including wharfage. Minim um quantity, 4 ton s.
D ead m eat, &c., consigned from Woodville to S p it, will be charged at the fol -
lowing rates, v i z .: D ead meat and hides, per ton, 28s.; tallow and pelts, per ton, 26s.
Flax and tow delivered at Foxton Railway-station to await shipm ent will be
charged 6d. per bale, which will include receiving into sh ed, loading-up, and delivery
to ship s in tru cks alongside wharf.
The maximum rate for firewood consigned from Woodville-Kopua and inter -
mediate statio ns to H astings-Sp it and interm ediate statio ns will be 30s. per truck
of 6 ton s. This rate will operate until 30th November, 1896.
Class H.—Wool, etc.
Class H, undumped, will be charged as follows per bale from the statio ns named
below :—

3d. per 100 superficial feet less than the classifed rates; minimum charge, 8d. per
