I, ARCHIBALD ROBERTSON, Bachelor of Medicine, Master of
Surgery, Univ. Glasgow, 1892, now residing in Car-
terton, hereby give notice that I intend applying on the 1st
October, 1896, to have my name placed on the Medical
Register for the Colony of New Zealand; and that I have
deposited the evidence of my qualification in the office of the
Registrar-General.

AT the annual general meeting of shareholders of the
Clapham Patent Life-boat Apparatus Company
(Limited), held on the 24th June, a resolution was moved,
seconded, and carried with but one dissentient, that the
company be voluntarily wound up; and the said resolution
was confirmed at a subsequent extraordinary general meet-
ing, held on the 29th July, 1896, the one called for the 22nd
July for that purpose having lapsed for want of a quorum.
The following Directors were appointed Liquidators: viz.,
Mr. E. C. Sanders (Chairman), Mr. E. Gallichan, Mr. G.
Searle, Mr. T. Rimmer, Mr. T. D. Clapham, and Mr. J. C.
Maunder.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the
Heathcote Road Board, under the provisions of "The
Public Works Act, 1894," to execute a certain public work—
viz., the construction of a road through that part of R.S. 48A,
Opawa, more particularly shown on a plan deposited in the
Deeds Registry Office, Christchurch, and numbered 3730.
For the purposes of such public work the land described in
the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. Notice is fur-
ther given that a plan of the said road, and of the land so
required to be taken, is deposited in the shop of Mr. William
Kerr Morrison, Opawa Road, storekeeper, and is there open
for inspection. And notice is hereby given that all persons
affected by the execution of the said public work or by the
taking of such land shall, if they have any well-grounded
objection to the execution of the said public work or to the
taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send
such writing, within forty days from the first publication of
this notice, to the Heathcote Road Board, addressed to the
Chairman thereof, at the office of the said Board, Ferry
Road.
SCHEDULE.
All that parcel of land, part of the lands comprised in
certificate of title, Vol. cxxxviii., folio 11, in the District Lands
Transfer Office, at Christchurch, containing one perch and
one-fifth of a perch, being ten links from N.E. to S.W., and
in continuation of the right-of-way seventy-five links wide,
running north-east and south-west, and shown on the said
certificate.

NOTICE OF INTENTION OF THE WAIRARAPA
NORTH COUNTY COUNCIL TO TAKE LAND FOR
A ROAD UNDER "THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT,
1894."
NOTICE is given that it is the intention of the Waira-
rapa North County Council, under the provisions of
"The Public Works Act, 1894," to take the several parcels of
land mentioned in the Schedule hereto, for the purpose of a
public road. A plan of the said land is open for public in-
spection, during office-hours, at the Post-office, Tinui.
All persons affected by the above proposal are hereby
called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objec-
tion to the taking of the said lands, and to send such writing,
within forty days from the date hereof, to the office of the
said Council, Hall Street, Masterton.

In the matter of "The Companies Act, 1882," and its
amendments; and in the matter of the Wainuiwa Dairy
Factory Company (Limited).
I, FREDERICK GEORGE MORGAN, Registrar of the
Supreme Court for the District of Southland, do
hereby notify that an affidavit, a copy of which is hereunder
given, by WILLIAM ALFRED ROWE, Secretary of the Wainuiwa
Dairy Factory Company (Limited), has been lodged in the
Stipendiary Magistrate's Court at Invercargill, and forwarded
to me; and that, unless notice of objection be lodged with me
within sixty days of this date, I shall proceed to declare the
said company to be dissolved in manner provided by "The
Companies Act, 1882."

I, WILLIAM ALFRED ROWE, of Wainuiwa, in the County of
Southland and Colony of New Zealand, Secretary of the
Wainuiwa Dairy Factory Company (Limited), incorporated
under "The Companies Act, 1882," do hereby make oath
and say,--
- That the nominal capital of the said company is £2,000,
in 400 shares of £5 each. - That the shares have been fully paid up.
- That the company has no assets, and has ceased to
carry on its operations.
And I, the said William Alfred Rowe, as such Secretary
as aforesaid, do hereby apply for declaration of dissolution
of such company.
