Bone for the Manufacure of Potassim Cyanide.

NOTICE is here by given that a bonus of £1,000 will be
paid for the erection of a plant and the manufacure
in New Zeal and of the first 200 ton of crude cyanide of
pota ium from colonial produce.

The plant must be capable of produc ing at least 70
tons of crude cyanide of potassium annuall y. -
The crude cyanide of potassium so manufac ured shall
contain at least 70 per cent. of pota ium cyanide. -
The bonus will be paid in two equal installments, the
first installm ent being pay able on the production of the first
100 ton , and the second installm ent on the production of
the second 100 ton , of crude cyanide of potassium contain -
ing the required percentage of pota ium cyanide. -
On the completion of the plant, notice in writing must
be sent to the Minister of Industries and commerce, wel -
ling ton, who will appoint an officer to inspec t the same,
together with the raw material then available from which
the cyanide of potassium is proposed to be manufac tured. -
The officer so appoint ed shall from time to time inspec t
the process of manufac ture, in order that he may satisf y
himself that the whole of the cyanide of potassium is being
manufac tured from material of New Zeal and production ;
and before any bonus is paid such officer will be required
to certify that he is satisf ied the crude cyanide of potassium
is the product of New Zeal and material only, and that it
contains the required percentage of pota ium cyanide. -
The bonus must be claimed for the first 100 ton on or
before the 31st March, 1897, and for the second 100 ton on
or before the 30th September, 1898.
