NOTICE UNDER “THE FAMILY HOMES PROTECTION ACT, 1895.”

APPLICATION No. 1.

I HEREBY give notice that JOHN BAKER, of Puketapu, Farmer, has made application, under the provisions of “The Family Homes Protection Act, 1895,” to have the land described in his said application, situate at Puketapu, near Napier, in the Provincial District of Hawke’s Bay, registered as a “family home”; and that the same will be registered accordingly unless caveat forbidding the same be lodged with me, at the District Lands Registry Office, Napier, by some person claiming to be a creditor of the applicant, within the time limited for that purpose by the said Act.

THE GORE DAIRY FACTORY COMPANY (LIMITED).

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above-named company, duly convened, and held in the Town Hall, Gore, on the 8th day of July, 1896, the subjoined extraordinary resolution was duly passed: “That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same; and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily.” And the following resolution was also passed: “That Robert Dewar, of Gore, Accountant, be appointed Liquidator of the said company.”

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership business lately carried on by WILLIAM McNEE and JAMES MacGREGOR BARRON, at Gore, under the style of “McNee and Barron,” as Family Grocers, has this day been dissolved by mutual consent.

All debts due to or owing by the firm will be received or paid by the said William McNee, as the case may be.

Mr. McNee will continue in Mersey Street, and Mr. Barron in Main Street, each on his own account, the business formerly carried on in these premises respectively.
