NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary
general meeting of the above-named company held
on the 5th day of May, 1896, the following resolution was

Liability) be voluntarily wound up under the provisions of
'The Mining Companies Act, 1894.'"

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT WATER-
RACE.
Karamea, Wangapeka, 11th June, 1896.
To the Warden at Nelson.
I HEREBY give notice that I intend to construct a water-
race to divert and use water for mining purposes, com-
mencing at a point on the south side of the River Wanga-
peka about one mile and a half above the River Dart, and
terminating at the claim, about five miles and a half lower
down. The said water-race will be constructed through the
following private lands—viz., Sections 14, Square 148; 1,
Square 155; 15, 3, 10, and 11, Block XIV.; and Section 8,
Block X., Wangapeka Survey District—the said lands
being occupied by Messrs. Chandler, Roeske, Wright, and
McCarthy.
The length of such race is about five miles and a half, or
thereabouts, and its intended course is easterly.
The mean depth of such race is 5ft., and the mean breadth
is 8ft., and it is proposed to divert 100 Government heads of
water.
Cost of construction: £10,000.
Time required for construction: Two years.
Number and date of miner's right: No. 35911; 15th June,
1895.

must lodge his objection in writing at the Warden's Office
at Nelson within fourteen clear days from the date hereof.
