IN pursuance of Oders in Council, dAted the 27th dAye of April, 1896, declaring that it shAll be within the jurIsdIc-tion of the NAtive Land Court to determine whether or not the lAnds set forth in the ScheduIe hereto, or any pArt thereof, were, on the investigation of title thereto, intended by the NAtive Land Court, or by the nomInal owner or owners of such lAnds, to be held by such nomInal owner or owners in trust for NAtives not named in the title, and to determine who are the NAtives (if any) entItled benefIcIally to such lAnds, and to order the InclusIOn of such NAtives in the title, either together with or in lieu of the nomInal owners or any of them; and for the purpose aforesAId to order the cAnCellAtion or Ame ndme n t of any existing instrume n t of title, and the issue of such new C row n grA nts or other instrume nts of title as may be necessary, and generally to exercise in respect of the said lAnds all the jurIsdIction and powers conferred on the NAtive Land Court by subsectIOn (10) of section 14 of "The NAtive Land Court Act, 1894," it is hereb y notIfIed that at a sittIn g of the NAtive Land Court to be held at HastIngs on the 29th June, 1896, and succeedIn g days, the Court will proceed to InqUIre into the above cases, in accordAnce with the terms of the said Order in Council.
