Notice of Acceptance of Complete Specifications.

Patent Office,
Wellington, 8th January, 1896.

COMPLETE specifications relating to the under-men-
tioned applications for Letters Patent have been
accepted, and are open to public inspection at this office.
Any person may, at any time within two months from the
date of this Gazette, give me notice in writing of opposition
to the grant of any such patent. Such notice must set forth
the particular grounds of objection, and be in duplicate. A
fee of 10s. is payable thereon.

No. 7510.—27th March, 1895.—CHARLES DARGIE, of Ed-
ward Street, Shepparton, Machinist, and SIDNEY COOKE, of
330, Flinders Lane, Melbourne, Printers' Furnisher, both
in Victoria. An invention for an improved supporter or
fastener for window-sashes, sliding-doors, or sliding-screens.
(Specification, 5s. 6d.; drawings, 5s.)*

No. 7513.—29th March, 1895.—EDWARD RAINSFORD
GROVES, of Gladstone, Tasmania, Miner. An invention for
a hydraulic injector funnel. (Specification, 10s.; draw-

No. 7541.—5th April, 1895.—ASA NORMAN WHITNEY, of the
Melbourne Club, Collins Street, Melbourne, Victoria, Master
Mariner and Engineer. An invention for improvements in
lay or inanimate objects or missiles for the use of sportsmen,
called "The Inanimate Feathered Bird." (Specification,
6s. 6d.; drawings, 3s.)*

No. 7800.—3rd August, 1895.—HUGH LAING MAINLAND, of
31, Moray Place, Dunedin, New Zealand, Mechanical Engi-
neer. An invention entitled "The Feather-weight Rabbit-

No. 7861.—31st August, 1895.—HENRY SMALL, of Hart-
ford, Connecticut, United States of America, Builder. An
invention for an improvement in driving-bits for horses.

No. 7984.—16th October, 1895.—JAMES CRICHTON, of Wa-
nganui, New Zealand, Bootmaker. An invention for an im-
provement in the manufacture of boots and shoes, to be
known as "Crichton's Ventilating Boot or Shoe." (Specifi-

No. 8038.—5th November, 1895.—JAMES STOCKER SCARR,
of Hobart, Tasmania, Ironmonger. An invention for a
combined waterproof cleaning and polishing glove, to be
known as "Scarr's Combined Waterproof Cleaning and
Polishing Glove." (Specification, 2s. 6d.)

An invention for an improved method to reduce the soot
and smoke and economize fuel in furnaces. (Specification,

RENT ELECTRO-MOTOR SYNDICATE (LIMITED), of 2 and 4, Peny-
wern Road, Earls Court, Middlesex, England (assignees of
Walter Langdon-Davies, of 57, Comeragh Road, West Kensing-
ton, Middlesex, England, Electrical Engineer). An invention
for improvements in electro-motors and like electro-mag-

No. 8141.—14th December, 1895.—FRITZ VILHELM FRI-
DERICHSEN, of 68, Ny Stormgade, Copenhagen, Denmark,
Pharmacist. An invention for process of keeping blood by
addition of molasses or treacle, with a view of using the
mixture alone, or in combination with ordinary forages, as
