A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority
vested in the Govenor by "The Regitration of Births
and Deaths Act, 1875," I, David, Ear of Glasgwo, the
Govenor of the Coloney of New Zealnd, do herey abolish
the existing registration distrcts known as the Pamerston
Nort h, Huntersville, Feilding, and Haldombe Districts, and
do proclaim and declare that the territoy heretofore com-
prised within the said distrcts is herey deivided anew into
six registration distrcts, the names whereof shall be the
Pamerston North, Ashhurt, Birmingham, Huntersville,
Feilding, and Haldombe Districts, and the boundries
whereof shall be cointerminous with the boundries of the
marriage distrcts beaing the same names as are set forth
in a Proclamation of even date herewith, made under the
provsions of "The Marraige Act, 1880. "
And I herey declare that this Proclamation shall come
i nto operation on the first day of May, in the year of our
Lord one thousand eight hundred and nintey-six.
