A STATUTORY declaration of the loss of Crown grant,
Vol. xxvi., folio 68, comprising Sections 241 and 243,
South Rakaia, whereof GEORGE DUNFORD, of Rakaia,
Shepherd, is the registered proprietor, having been lodged
with me, and an application having been made for the issue
of a provisional certificate of title: I hereby give notice
that I will issue the provisional certificate of title, as re-
quested, at the expiration of fourteen days from the date of
the Gazette containing this notice.
Dated at the Lands Registry Office, Christchurch, this
29th day of February, 1896.

I, JAMES ANDREW DIXON MULHOLLAND, Bachelor of Medi-
cine and Master in Surgery of the University of Glas-
gow, now residing in Dunedin, hereby give notice that I
intend applying on the 29th March, 1896, to have my
name placed on the Medical Register for the Colony of New
Zealand; and that I have deposited the evidence of my
qualification in the office of the Registrar of Births and
Deaths at Dunedin.

NOTICE is hereby given that the place of business or
Office of the company, where any legal proceedings of
any kind may be served upon it, and to which notices of any
kind may be addressed or given, is situated at No. 3, Queen’s
Chambers, Jervois Quay, in the City of Wellington. And
further take notice that, by deed bearing date the 7th day
of February, 1896, I was duly appointed attorney in New
Zealand for the said company.

THE Partnership heretofore subsisting between the
undersigned ANDREW HAMILTON RUSSELL and WILLIAM
RUSSELL RUSSELL, under the style of “Russell Bros.,” has
been dissolved as from the 31st day of December, 1895. All
debts due to the late firm are to be paid to the said William
Russell Russell, by whom all the liabilities of the said firm
will be discharged.

PATENT OFFICE SUPPLEMENT.

A SPECIAL Supplement to the New Zealand Gazette is
now published fortnightly, containing all notices con-
cerning patents and trade-marks required by law to be
gazetted; also, particulars of lapsed applications for patents,
expired letters patent, and other information useful to in-
ventors, manufacturers, and others. The Supplement will
be issued free to subscribers to the Gazette, and to others on
payment of a subscription of ten shillings per annum, pay-
able in advance to the Government Printer.

THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

SUBSCRIPTIONS.—The subscription is at the rate of 30s.
per annum, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than
three months cannot be subscribed for.
Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 6d. per line for
the first insertion and 3d. per line for the second and any
subsequent insertion.
Statements under the Mining Act are uniformly charged
23s.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible
hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday even-
ing in each week, and notices for insertion must be received
by the Government Printer before three o’clock of the day
preceding publication.
Communications should be addressed to the Government
Printer, Wellington, to whom post-office money-orders
should be made payable. Cheques should be crossed “Pub-
lic a/c,” and exchange added.
Postage- or duty-stamps cannot be received in payment
from any place at which postal notes or post-office orders are
issued.
Prepayment may be demanded in any case. In order to
prevent delay in publication a sufficient remittance should
accompany every advertisement. Any surplus will be
returned with receipted account.
