In Bankruptcy.—In the District Court of Wanganui, held
at Wanganui.

NOTICE is hereby given that JAMES LAMBESS, of Wa-
gaehu, Farmer, was this day adjudged a bankrupt;
and I hereby convene a meeting of creditors, to be held at my
office, Wanganui, on Tuesday, the 26th November, 1895, at
2.30 p.m.

Application for Dissolution of Company.

I, ANDREW ROBY BLOXAM, Registrar of the Su-
preme Court for the District of Canterbury, do
hereby notify that an affidavit, a copy of which is hereunder
given, by John Jackson and Robert Heaton Rhodes, two
shareholders of the Mount Cook Hermitage Company (Li-
mitted), has been lodged in the Magistrate's Court at Timaru,
and forwarded to me; and that, unless notice of objection
be lodged within sixty days of this date, I shall proceed to
declare the said company to be dissolved, in manner pre-
scribed by "The Companies Act, 1882."

In the matter of "The Companies Act, 1882," and its
amendments.

We, John Jackson, of Timaru, in the Provincial District
of Canterbury, merchant, and Robert Heaton Rhodes, of
Blue Cliffs, St. Andrew's, in the said provincial district,
sheep-farmer, and of the Mount Cook Hermitage Company
(Limited), incorporated under "The Companies Act, 1882,"
do hereby make oath and declare,—

  1. That the nominal capital of the said company is £10,000,
    in 5,000 shares of £2 each.

  2. That 1,260 shares have been issued, of which five were
    cancelled.

  3. That the said 1,255 shares have been fully paid up.

  4. That the company has no assets, and has ceased to
    carry on its operations.

  5. That the said John Jackson is the chairman of the said
    company, and the said Robert Heaton Rhodes is a share-
    holder of the said company.

  6. And the said John Jackson and Robert Heaton Rhodes
    do hereby apply for declaration of dissolution of said com-
    pany.

Land Transfer Act Notices.

NOTICE is hereby given that the several parcels of land
hereinafter described will be brought under the pro-
visions of "The Land Transfer Act, 1885," unless caveat be
lodged forbidding the same within one month from the date
of the Gazette containing this notice.

  1. HENRY CHARLES HAWES.—64 acres 2 roods,
    Sections 32 to 37 inclusive, Square 152, District of Karamea.
    Occupied by Applicant.

APPLICATION having been made to register a certain
dealing affecting certificates of title, Vol. cxxii., folio
201, and Vol. cxxxiii., folio 168, whereof PETER ELLIS is
the registered proprietor, without production of the said
certificates, and for the issue of provisional titles in lieu of
such certificates, I hereby give notice that I will register
such dealing, and issue the provisional title as applied for,
on the 27th day of December, 1895.

    the Town of Onehunga, containing 1 acre and 9 perches.
    Occupied by Applicant.

  2. THE KAURI TIMBER COMPANY (LIMITED).
    —The two parcels of land, situated at Tairua, granted by
    the Crown to Arthur Willis and George Graham under the
    Land Claims Settlement Act, and containing 1,797 acres and
    1,650 acres respectively. Unoccupied.

Mortgage, No. 20062, from WILLIAM PICKETT
and THOMAS PICKETT to the GOVERNMENT AD-
VANCES TO SETTLERS OFFICE SUPERIN-
TENDENT, over Section 5, Block I., Aohanga Survey
District, being the land described in Crown lease, Vol. 2A,
folio 45, and a declaration having been lodged with me of
the loss of the outstanding duplicate of the said Crown
lease, I hereby give notice that I intend to dispense with
the production of the said duplicate Crown lease, and to
give effect to the said mortgage, unless caveat be lodged
forbidding the same on or before the 5th day of December,
1895.
