Land taken for a Further Portion of the Wellington-Napier Railway: Manga-atua Section.

A PROCLAMATION.
W HEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken for a further portion of the Wellington-Napier Railway—namely, the Manga-atua Section:
And whereas all conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land in the manner hereby provided have been observed and performed:
Now, therefore, I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by section one hundred and sixty-seven of "The Public Works Act, 1894," and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is taken for the further portion of the said line of railway hereinbefore specified.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable David, Earl of Glasgow; Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George; Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this nineteenth day of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety-five.

A PROCLAMATION.
I N pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred by the one hundred and sixty-second section of "The Land Act, 1892," and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the blocks of land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby set apart and declared open for special settlement.
