huki, Whakawiria, Karoro, Marokopa, Kerei, Te Hokio, Te Hana, Whakaneke, Ngatai Himiona, Tamakiwi Kawarau, Rongohurumanu, Wahieroa, Hinauri, Ngakawe, Te Kehu, Tioko, Ngeru, Te Kawau, Ngeru, Turiakina, Moutoko, Uru te Angina, Pariki Tinirau, Tutu, Rangihaeretu, Tamatana, Kahukura, Te Kuku, Te Matangi, Rangihina, Horima, Te Kina, Hapurona, Te Awarua, Tamaka, Taare Tahua, Whatakaraka, Kei, Wero te Whareaitu, Hoani Nareinui, Tioko, Patohe te Rei Honatana, Mariana, Tatahi, Ngaiwikau, Taruwai, Tahata, Te Uerangi, Hare Tamawaru, Te Kiri, Kumenga, Waiaua, Te Aukarewa, Poutahi, Hine Pounamu, Tutakai-kura, Te Urumairangi, Te Ratoia, Putaka Waikatere, Te Ikatera Anio, Mahuri, Nihera, Kurarere, Ngamimi, and the other Native owners of all that piece of land, being portion of the Wharerora and Tirotiromoana Reserves, known as “Tawhitikahu,” and containing by admeasurement 480 acres (more or less), being the land comprised in confirmed lease No.50; and to Jerry Hayr Siggs, of Manaia, farmer.
Whereas the above-named Jerry Hayr Siggs has given notice to me, under the provisions of section 8 of “The West Coast Settlement Reserves Act, 1892,” that he desires to obtain under that section a new lease of the land above described; and I consider his application ought to be given effect to: Now, therefore, I do hereby appoint a meeting to take place between the said Jerry Hayr Siggs and all the Native owners of the above-described land, for the purpose of fixing the rent to be paid for the said land for the first twenty-one years of the new lease; and I fix Davidson’s Hall, Hawera, as the place where, and Tuesday, the 29th day of October, 1895, at 2 o’clock in the afternoon, as the time when, such meeting shall take place.
