LOCAL RATES—continued.

NAPIER-TARANAKI SECTION.

Coal between Spit and Napier will be charged as Class Q.
Goods of Classes A, B, C, D, E, N, P, between Palmerston and Longburn, booked
between Palmerston and stations on the Wellington-Manawatu Railway Company's
line, will be charged 2s. 6d. per ton; and Class H 6d. per bale undumped, 1s. per
bale double-dumped.

CLASS H.—WOOL, ETC.

Class H, undumped, from Whakatu, Tomoana, or Hastings to Spit will be
charged 11d. per bale. Class H, undumped, between Farndon and Spit will be
charged 8d. per bale. These rates will apply to scoured wool in bales not exceed-
ing 2½cwt. each, notwithstanding regulation under Part III.
Class H, undumped, from stations between Dannevirke and Woodville inclusive,
consigned to Spit, will be charged 6s. 4d. per bale.
Class H, undumped, consigned from Feilding to Foxton for shipment will be
charged 3s. per bale, including wharfage.
Class H, undumped, from Palmerston or Longburn to Foxton will be charged
2s. per bale, including wharfage.
Class H, undumped, from Carnarvon to Foxton will be charged 9d. per bale. This
rate will also apply to scoured wool (undumped) in bales not exceeding 2½cwt. each,
notwithstanding regulation under Part III.
Class H, undumped, from Turakina or Wangaehu to Wanganui will be charged
1s. 6d. per bale.

CLASS K.—TIMBER.

Timber consigned from saw-mills to Spit, New Plymouth, New Plymouth
Breakwater, Waitara, Wanganui, or Foxton, to vessels for shipment will be charged
3d. per 100 superficial feet less than the classified rates; minimum charge, 8d. per
100 superficial feet.
The maximum rates for white-pine timber will be as follows:—
8d. per 100 superficial feet for all distances from 1 to 20 miles inclusive, and at
the following rates per 100 superficial feet for distances beyond:—

For every additional mile ½d. per 100 superficial feet will be added.
