LOCAL RATES—continued.
The minimum charge for carts, drays, wagons, and carriages will be 5s. each.
Sixpence per ton per day storage will be charged on all goods not removed within
three working-days of their arrival.
KAIHU SECTION.
Goods of Classes A, B, C, D, E, and H will be charged as Class A.
Classes N and P will be charged as Class N.
Timber consigned to Dargaville for shipment will be charged as follows, per 100
superficial feet:—
For distances not over 10 miles ... ... ... 0 8 0 9
Over 10 miles and not over 17 miles ... ... 0 9 0 10
The Railway Department may require owners to unload timber from the railway-
wagons at Dargaville. For unloading done by the Railway at Dargaville the fol-
lowing charges will be made, per 100 superficial feet :—

All logs unloaded at the skids shall be taken delivery of by consignees in the river
within the booms. Delivery will be deemed to be complete when the logs are placed
within the booms.
AUCKLAND SECTION.
When goods of Classes A, B, C, D, E are consigned to Auckland, except such as
are consigned to private sidings at that station, or to the Auckland Railway Wharf
for shipment there, both the classified rates, Part III., and the local rates will be
increased by 1s. 8d. per ton, except otherwise specified. The minimum charge for
small lots will be 1s. 4d., except for small lots of Class E goods, poultry, butter, and
other articles enumerated in section 3 of Part III.
Goods of Classes A, B, C, D, E, H, between Onehunga and Auckland or New-
market, will be charged as follows, except otherwise specified :—
Between Auckland or Newmarket and A, B, C, D,

The rate to the wharf includes all charges on Classes A, B, C, D, H, for wharfage

measurement, at the option of the Department.
Sugar for shipment from Auckland Railway Wharf to Onehunga Railway Wharf
will be charged 5s. per ton, including haulage at Auckland Railway Wharf, all
charges for wharfage at Onehunga, and delivery to ships in trucks alongside the
Railway Wharf. Minimum quantity, 2 tons.

unloading in the yards or sheds, and delivery to or receipt from ships in trucks alongside the
Railway Wharf.
