  Maerewhenua District, 3rd August, 1895.

To the Warden at Livigstone.

I HEREBY give notice that I intent to construct a water-
rce to divert and use water for mining purposes and
irrigaion, commencing at a point in Sheep-wash Crek about
18 chais above easter boundry of Section 20, Block X.,
Maeewhenua West, and terminaing at Bushy Crek, at the
southeast corner of westrn portion of Section 2, Block VIL.
The length of such rce is two miles or thereabouts, and
its intended course is south-east, going through Sections 20
and 19, Block X.; thence through Sections 24, 25, 20, and 2,
Block VIL., Maeewhenua West.
The mean depth of such rce is 9in., and the mean breadth
is 9in., and it is proposed to divert one Government head of
water.
Cost of construction: £50.
Time required for construction: Twelv months.
Number and date of minr's right: No. 13037; 7th Feb-
ruary, 1895.
Time license required: Fifeen years.
