NOTICE is hereby given that the matter mentioned in the Schedule hereunder written will be heard by the Native Land Court sitting at Whanganui on the 1st day of August, 1895, or as soon thereafter as the business of the Court will allow.

APPLICATION under Section 4 of "The Native Land Court Certificates Confirmation Act, 1894," for Confirmation of the Certificate made by the Native Land Court in favour of Applicant, on the 14th day of December, 1893.

Notice of Dismissal of Application under Section 39 of "The Native Land Court Act, 1894."

I HEREBY give notice that the application of Te Hira Pateoro and Kirihipina Pateoro under section 39 of "The Native Land Court Act, 1894," to set aside or amend an order of the Native Land Court, dated the 2nd day of March, 1883, appointing Paora Tuhaere to succeed to the interest of Apihai te Kawau in the Orakei Block, has been dismissed.

Notice of Inquiry under Section 118 of "The Native Land Court Act, 1894."

WHEREAS the Official Assignee in Bankruptcy, Auckland, a person claiming to have purchased from certain of the Native owners shares or interests in the Pahunuhunu No. 3 Block, and to have been prior to the date of the passing of "The Native Land Court Act, 1894," in negotiation for the purchase of certain other shares or interests therein, has notified such claim to the Chief Judge of the Native Land Court, and to the Commissioner of Crown Lands for the Auckland District, and has requested that an inquiry into the circumstances thereof may be held as provided by section 118 of the said Act: And whereas the Chief Judge has referred the said claim to a Judge of the Native Land Court for inquiry as aforesaid: I hereby give notice that such inquiry will be held at the Native Land Court House, Whangarei, on the 19th day of August, 1895, at 10 a.m.

Notice of Inquiry under Section 118 of "The Native Land Court Act, 1894."

WHEREAS Richard Cock, of New Plymouth, merchant, a person claiming to have purchased from certain of the Native owners shares or interests in the Hua Reserve C No. 1 and to have been prior to the date of the passing of "The Native Land Court Act, 1894," in negotiation for the purchase of the share or interest of Tawhiri therein, has notified such claim to the Chief Judge of the Native Land Court, and to the Commissioner of Crown Lands for the New Plymouth District, and has requested that an inquiry into the circumstances thereof may be held as provided by section 118 of the said Act: And whereas the Chief Judge has referred the said claim to a Commissioner of the Native Land Court for inquiry as aforesaid: I hereby give notice that such inquiry will be held at the Native Land Court House, New Plymouth, on the 14th day of August, 1895, at 10 a.m.

WHEREAS Charles Sampson, of New Plymouth, settler, a person claiming to have purchased from certain of the Native owners shares or interests in the Waitara West Rural Allotment No. 105, and to have been prior to the date of the passing of "The Native Land Court Act, 1894," in negotiation for the purchase of certain other shares or interests therein, has notified such claim to the Chief Judge of the Native Land Court, and to the Commissioner of Crown Lands for the New Plymouth District, and has requested that an inquiry into the circumstances thereof may be held as provided by section 118 of the said Act: And whereas the Chief Judge has referred the said claim to a Commissioner of the Native Land Court for inquiry as aforesaid: I hereby give notice that such inquiry will be held at the Native Land Court House, New Plymouth, on the 14th day of August, 1895, at 10 a.m.

WHEREAS Henry Brown, of the South Road, New Plymouth, a person claiming to have leased from certain of the Native owners shares or interests in the Waitara Survey District, Block IV., Sections 12 and 13, and to have been prior to the date of the passing of "The Native Land Court Act, 1894," in negotiation for the lease of certain other shares or interests therein, has notified such claim to the Chief Judge of the Native Land Court, and to the Commissioner of Crown Lands for the New Plymouth District, and has requested that an inquiry into the circumstances thereof may be held as provided by section 118 of the said Act: And whereas the Chief Judge has referred the said claim to a Commissioner of the Native Land Court for inquiry as aforesaid: I hereby give notice that such inquiry will be held at the Native Land Court House, New Plymouth, on the 14th day of August, 1895, at 10 a.m.

WHEREAS Henry Gaisford, of Mount Herbert, Waipukurau, Hawke's Bay, sheep-farmer, a person claiming to have leased from certain of the Native owners shares or interests in the Kaimotumotu South Block, and the Reserve in the said block, and to have been prior to the date of the passing of "The Native Land Court Act, 1894," in negotiation for the lease of certain other shares or interests therein, has notified such claim to the Chief Judge of the Native Land Court, and to the Commissioner of Crown Lands for the Napier District, and has requested that an inquiry into the circumstances thereof may be held as provided by section 118 of the said Act: And whereas the Chief Judge has referred the said claim to a Judge of the Native Land Court for inquiry as aforesaid: I hereby give notice that such inquiry will be held at the Native Land Court House, Hastings, on the 17th day of August, 1895, at 10 a.m.
