Notice of Acceptance of Complete Specifications.

Patent Office,
Wellington, 12th June, 1895.
COMPLETE specifications relating to the under-men-
tioned applications for Letters Patent have been ac-
cepted, and are open to public inspection at this office.
Any person may, at any time within two months from the
date of this Gazette, give me notice in writing, in duplicate,
of opposition to the grant of any such patent, stating in
such notice the particular grounds of his objection. A fee
of 10s. is payable with such notice:—
No. 6984.—23rd July, 1894.—HENRY GLANVILLE SHANNON,
of Umataoroa, near Danevirke, New Zealand, Farmer. An
invention for a combination stumper and logger. (Specifica-
tion, 5s. 6d.; drawings, 7s. 6d.)
No. 7098.—3rd September, 1894.—HENRY COLLIER, of
Wanganui, New Zealand, Piano Importer. An invention
for an improved glove for washing purposes. (Specifica-
tion, 3s.; drawings, 5s.)

No. 7126.—6th September, 1894.—RANALD MACINTOSH
MACDONALD, of 32, Cathedral Square, Christchurch, New
Zealand, Engineer. An invention for improvements in well-
sinking and apparatus therefor. (Specification, 12s.; draw-
ings, 7s. 6d.)
No. 7131.—13th September, 1894.—EMILY PONTIN, of the
Poplars, Pascoe Street, Williamstown, Victoria, Married
Woman (assignee of George Pontin, of the same place,
Butter-box Manufacturer). An invention for an improved
box or package in which to transport butter and other edible
substances from place to place. (Specification, 4s. 6d.;

Balcutha, Otago, New Zealand, Blacksmith. An invention

ECONOMIZER SYNDICATE (LIMITED), of 101, Leadenhall Street,
London, England (assignees of Victor Constant Laurent, of
1, Boulevard Periere, Engineer; Jules Ferdinand Theophile
Schwalb, called "Van Hecke," of 18, Rue du Louvre,
Banker; and Eugene Scherding, of Rue du Louvre, Mer-
chant, all in Paris, France). An invention for improvements
in or relating to apparatus for directing, controlling, or regu-
lating the flow of the heated gases in multitubular boilers.
