Extending Time for Valuation List of County of Akaroa
to lie open for Inspection.
GLASGOW, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-
ninth day of April, 1895.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE THE PREMIER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the valuation list of the County of Akaroa
was not completed by or within the time men-
tioned in "The Rating Act, 1894," and in consequence the
said valuation list cannot lie open for inspection, as required
by the fifteenth section of the said Act:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers vested in him by
the said "Rating Act, 1894," and by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth
hereby extend the time during which such valuation list
shall lie open for inspection, and during which objections
thereto may be made, until the second day of May, one
thousand eight hundred and ninety-five.

Extending Time for Preparation of Burgess Roll, Borough
of the City of Auckland.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-
ninth day of April, 1895.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE THE PREMIER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS it has been made to appear that certain
things required to be done by "The Municipal Cor-
porations Act, 1886," in connection with the making and
revision of the burgess lists or rolls of the Borough of the
City of Auckland cannot be done by or within the time re-
quired by the said Act:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers
and authorities vested in him by the said Act, and by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said colony, doth hereby extend the time for the doing of the
said things in connection with the burgess lists or rolls of
the said Borough of the City of Auckland, and doth declare
that the times for the doing of such several things shall be
those which are specified in the Schedule hereunder.
SCHEDULE.

Burgess list to be made out: On or before the 7th May,
-
Burgess and defaulters' list open for inspection, and
delivery of objections thereto: Until the 22nd May, 1895. -
Inspection of lists of objections: From the 23rd May,
1895, to the 30th May, 1895. -
Sittings of Council to determine claims and objections:
Between the 1st and 15th June, 1895. -
Burgess roll to come into force: On the 1st July, 1895.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-
ninth day of April, 1895.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE THE PREMIER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities
vested in him by "The Public Domains Act, 1881,"
His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand,
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
thereof, doth hereby revoke a certain Order in Council, dated
the nineteenth day of July, one thousand eight hundred and
eighty-seven, making delegation of certain powers in manner
as therein appears; and doth, with the like advice and con-
sent, by this present Order, delegate, but only with respect
to the pieces or parcels of land described in the Schedule
hereto, all the powers conferred by the Act aforesaid, except
the powers under or conferred by sections five and twelve
thereof, to the under-mentioned persons, who shall be known
as the Tauranga Public Domain Board, namely,β
The Honourable George Bentham Morris,
James Weir Gray,
The Mayor of the Borough of Tauranga,
David Lundon,
Richard Coles Jordan, and
Alexander James Leslie
(hereinafter referred to as "the Board"), subject to the
stipulations hereinafter contained, that is to say,β

The Board shall meet for the transaction of business on
the first Monday in each month, at seven o'clock p.m.,
at the office of the Chairman, or at such other time or
place as may from time to time be fixed by the Board. The
first meeting shall be held on Monday, the third day of
June, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-five. -
Special meetings may be convened by the Chairman or
by any two members of the Board, provided that two days'
notice of such meeting be given to each member, specifying
the business to be transacted at such special meeting, and
no other business than that so specified shall be transacted
at such meeting. -
Any three of the said Board shall form a quorum. Any
meeting may be adjourned from time to time. -
The members of the Board shall, at their first meeting,
and thereafter at an annual meeting to be held on the
second Tuesday in January in every succeeding year there-
after, elect one of themselves to be Chairman, who may join
in the discussion, and shall have an original as well as a
casting vote. The Chairman shall hold office until the elec-
tion of his successor. -
If at any meeting the Chairman is not present at the
time appointed for holding the same, the members present
shall choose some one of their number to be chairman of
such meeting. -
If, by resignation, death, or incapacity, or otherwise,
the office of Chairman shall be or become vacant, the mem-
bers may at any monthly or special meeting appoint a
Chairman. -
All questions shall be determined by the majority of
votes of the members of the Board present at a meeting.
SCHEDULE.
All that parcel of land in the Land District of Auckland,
containing by admeasurement 7 acres 1 rood 21 perches,
more or less, being Allotment No. 273 of Section No. 1 of the
Town of Tauranga, Parish of Te Papa. Bounded towards
the north by a street, 1098 links; towards the east by a
street, 711 links; towards the south by a street, 957 links;
and towards the west by a line, 725 links.
All that parcel of land, containing 8 acres 2 roods, more or
less, being Lot No. 393 of Section No. 1, Town of Tauranga,
Parish of Te Papa, Tauranga Survey District, Land
District of Auckland. Bounded on the north by Brown
Street, 1000 links; towards the east by Cameron Road, 1100
links; towards the south by McLean Street, 1114 links; and
towards the west by the sea, 590 links: be all the aforesaid
linkages more or less.

Governor's Bay Recreation-ground brought under "The

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-
ninth day of April, 1895.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE THE PREMIER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by
the twenty-fourth section of "The Public Reserves
Act, 1881," I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the
Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said colony, do hereby order
and declare that the reserve made for public recreation in the
Land District of Canterbury, and known as the Governor's
Bay Recreation-ground, and described in the Schedule
hereto, shall be and the same is hereby brought under the
operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of
"The Public Domains Act, 1881"; and such domain shall
hereafter be managed, administered, and dealt with in
manner directed by the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
All that parcel of land in the Land District of Canterbury,
containing by admeasurement 6 acres 2 roods 3 perches,
more or less, being Section No. 3060 (in red), formerly part
of Rural Section No. 232, Block VII., Halswell Survey Dis-
trict. Bounded on the northward by the road along high-
water mark, Governor's Bay, Port Lyttelton; on the south-
eastward by Rural Sections Nos. 1649, 1649x, and 1649,
1564 links; on the south-westward by a road-line, 1517 links;
